You know, I didn't really get into that one that much. I guess I find myself more drawn to stuff that is more subtle. Can you fill me in on some of the practical things that make this a good track?

Think of it this way J. The stuff guitar players love isn't the stuff that fans of rock love. A lot of rock riffs are very, very easy to play and are kind of joke. If you ask a serious guitar player what kind of music he likes, he might go with Joe Satriani who is possibly the greatest guitarist ever born (and has never, and will never, make an enjoyable song for the everday person). If a DJ watches that video, the raw skill is incredible. The cuts, the set, the set list, and the scracthing are some of the best I have seen. Gaslamp isn't good enough to go and compete with Premier, MMM, or Q-Bert, but in terms of advancing the art he is doing a lot in LA and NYC. The DJ's DJ if you will.
